Air is a key component for the operation of internal combustion engines and it must always be clean and completely free of any pollutants such as dust, ash or other unwanted particles.

The task of the air filter is to block every pollutant that, entering the combustion chamber, would cause damage and premature wear of the engine.

TECNECO air filters provide high filtration efficiency, greater and constant protection of the engine and a fuel-air mix necessary to improve performance and reduce power consumption.

Spin-on and ecological oil filters

Oil has the function of lubricating all the moving parts within the engine. During the combustion phase, polluting particles such as ash and dust are produced inside an internal combustion engine. These particles, together with metal powders generated by the friction between the mechanical parts, contaminate the oil flow, making oil more viscous and inadequate to its function of protecting the engine from wear elements. Consequently, the performance of the engine decreases, consumption increases and in the worst cases the engine can be seriously damaged.

TECNECO oil filters have the function to ensure cleanliness and fluidity of the oil in the circulation, improve performance and reduce power consumption.

Metal, in-line and ecological fuel filters

The essential requirement to ensure a proper operation of an internal combustion engine is the cleaning of the fuel used. The fuel filter has the function of blocking every polluting substances present in the fuel, preventing that they enter in the fuel system and damage it. In particular the water contained in the diesel fuel, with its high corrosive power, is one of the main pollutants to be eliminated, especially for the common-rail engines.

TECNECO fuel filters provide high filtration efficiency and high separation capacity between fuel and water thanks to their technology HWS High Water Separation.

Fiber cabin air filters and combined with activated carbon cabin air filters

The problem of air quality inside cars has become a topic of frequent discussion and of great importance. An effective protection against harmful substances in the air that we breathe in the car is the cabin air filter.

TECNECO offers two types of cabin air filters: fiber or particle filters, and filters combined with activated carbon.

Fiber particulate filters

TECNECO fiber particulate cabin air filters represent a real and reliable protection against airborne fine particles, micro-fine dust, pollen, particles from abrasion (brakes and clutches) and road dust.

Activated carbon filters 

TECNECO cabin air filters combined with active carbon have the same features and functionality of the particulate filters but plus they are equipped with a layer of activated carbon that can reduce unpleasant odors and hazardous gases for the health of the driver and passengers.

ANTIBATTERICI MULTISTRATO

Oggi il filtro abitacolo ha una funzione importantissima perché direttamente collegato alla salute di guidatore e passeggeri.
Qualità e affidabilità dei materiali utilizzati e performance di filtrazione sono alla base di un prodotto adeguato ed efficiente.

Da tempo TECNECO ha in gamma due diverse tipologie di filtri abitacolo, in Fibra capaci di bloccare e trattenere le particelle inquinanti disperse nell’aria e Combinati con Carboni Attivi che oltre a bloccare e trattenere gli inquinanti, grazie al loro strato di carboni attivi, sono in grado di assorbire gas e odori pericolosi per la salute di guidatore e passeggeri.

Da oggi TECNECO allarga la gamma con una nuova tipologia di filtri abitacolo, quelli Antibatterici, denominati ADPlus, capaci di bloccare le particelle inquinanti, assorbire gas e odori, contrastare la formazione di batteri e allergeni.

I filtri abitacolo antibatterici TECNECO ADPlus sono prodotti utilizzando uno speciale media filtrante multistrato Fibra/Carboni-Attivi/Fibra-Antimicrobica con azione filtrante a 3 stadi, 1° blocco particelle inquinanti – 2° assorbimento di gas e odori – 3° contrasto alla formazione di batteri e allergeni.

Nello specifico è lo strato Biofunzionale in Fibra-Antimicrobica che additivato con polifenoli naturali cattura gli allergeni liberi e sottrae ai batteri e alle muffe il cibo necessario per la loro proliferazione, svolgendo così la sua funzione antibatterica.
