As of April 2016 TECNECO introduced an important technical improvement during production of eco oil filters. With the use of a new production technology, today we use ultrasonic welding process to join first and last pleats of filtration media. This allows us to avoid the use of adhesives, as previously, subject to possible dissolution and detachment when immersed in high-temperature oil. The ultrasonic welding technology, besides being qualitatively higher tenacity and for sealing of the filter pack, over the use of
traditional adhesives and also much more environmentally friendly and sustainable as it does not provide for the use of the melting furnace, resulting in the absence of
atmospheric emissions and excessive energy consumption. Of course one of the most obvious improvements found on the product, using the ultrasonic welding, is a total sealing of filter pack with reduction to almost zero of not filtered oil leakage during the filtration stage.
This important technological innovation in eco oil filters manufacturing, along with another major innovation since few years ago, the infrared welding for joining plastic bottoms and filter pack, now enables us to produce our ecological oil filters without the use of adhesives with a double result, higher quality filters, greater respect for the
environment.
